Hi Everyone!, this is me and its my first ever blog.Now I shared some of my knowledge about How ICT affects our daily life. But before that I remind you that it based of my knowledge but I hope that I can help everyone about the question of How ICT affects our daily life. But before that let me first define what ICT means, ICT stands for Information and communications Technologies that provide access to information through telecommunications. It is similar to Information Technology (IT) but it focuses primarily on communication technologies. This include the internet, wireless network, cell phones, and other communication mediums. For me its contains a positive and negative. So I discuss first the positive.
In positive, there’s a lot of positive that we are incounter first is it easy to communicate why? because when we have a family that in abroad we are easy to ask them a lot of question through technology example of that is if she/he ok, what she/he doing and what the updated of she/he life in aboard. Second, easy to gain information, now it easy to know what happened or updated in our country and also in our world. You will know also their culture, beliefs and etc in other places. And also to make crucial desicion toward elections and anything events that affects everyone in our country. Third, easy to buy, now in our generation there’s a lot of online shopping application that everyone can install or you can buy. You can easy to buy, easy to sell, less hassle and also less traffic you need to do is click, choose and enter and its just a simple to buy everyone want. Fourth, self employment, gadgets are help out us to do our job easier. We can create our own business shops without the heavy overheads of place, purchase items and sales in market and make the advertising campaign use of multimedia application. This increased sales and encourages that small businesses. We can use net banking, online payment as the payment option. Last, Developing Health Literacy, with the immediate feedback from doctors, we becomes well sooner. Health Literacy deals with the need for people to access and use high quality information about disease and medicines through internet health care services available in gadgets. So now lets go with negative effects. We all know that there’s a lot also negative effects that everyone may encounter, so the first negative is distraction, as a student we all know that gadget is one of the most distraction to all people especially to all students and childrens. We cannot focus on our tasks that we have to do and also its losing our time. Second, addiction I think that its same with distraction, because all of students and childrens addicted to use gadgets it can use time to time and day by day and because of that theirs having a eye problems because of addiction on gadget some people I think all people have that because you can get eye strains from staring in cellphones for so long. Third, lack of time with family, because of using gadget in time by time and also day by day based on my experiences I have’nt time to my family to talk to them and also lack of time to bonding with them because in one day I always hold cellphone to browse my facebook and also to watch vlog in youtube . Fourth, lack of exercise, I don’t have a time to exercise outdoors because I always lying down on my bed. Fifth cost why? because using a gadget is expensive as a students I always luminous to have a data to watch a video and also a pictures because of that I can not save money .
These are example of positive and negative effects that based on my experience and knowledge. In conclusion, ICT have an impact or effect on almost everybody that has access to them and that the internet has changed society and how we live. ICT brings people from different parts of the world together to communicate with each other across the world. It gives an opportunity to improving communication, to meet new people online and establish a friendship to share the personal information online, increasing opportunities for education.
